Here are a few frequently asked question about our church. These answers might provide some insight for you before you attend for the first time.
What is the dress code?
We don't
have a dress code. Our service is very casual. The pastor commonly wears jeans and a casual shirt. You are welcome to attend Cross Creek in whatever attire is most comfortable to you.
If I attend your service, will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
We promise to never single you out or put you on the spot. We do like to collect some basic information from people but if you'd prefer not to give it that's alright with us.
Will you judge me for not believing in Christianity?
No, we'll accept you right where you are at. We exist for those who find themselves far from God and think that the He is irrelevant. We would like the chance to show how much love God has for you and how His word relates to your every day life.
Do you care about me, or my money?
We care about you. We realize that money is one of the most criticized areas within the church. With that in mind, we ask our first timers to not feel compelled to give. There is never any pressure to give at Cross Creek.
What
about a mid-week service?
Our
worship service is just the beginning of the Cross Creek experience. The most meaningful times at Cross Creek occur in homes throughout the week. We call these group gatherings, "Community Groups." They are a place were everyone can connect, belong, partner and serve.
Our Mission Statement
"Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. "We accomplish our mission by creating environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, community with insiders, and influence with those outside the faith. |
